DULUTH, MN - Al Sands has fought just four times since losing his Minnesota cruiserweight title in August of 2015, but he's confirmed to KBJR6 Sports that his next fight will be on an even bigger stage for an even more important title. 'The Haitian Temptation,' as he's called, will head overseas next month to challenge Ukrainian Boxer Roman Golovashchenko for the International Boxing Organization (IBO) world cruiserweight title. Sands is (19-2-0) overall with 17 knockouts in his professional career, and he's owned both that Minnesota state title as well as the North American Boxing Association (NABA) cruiserweight belt.That fight is scheduled for March 11 in Ransbach-Baumbach, Germany.
